Wasn't a mauling Liverpool just dropped their heads after 2-1 because they didn't have many ways of gettting back in the match seeing as the referee was a bit biased and crouch was completely useless. Proper funny when he got punched in the head by cech.

and it was a mauling after seeing the game. and you say the ref was biast? he didn't even book the Liverpool player who gave away the penalty. that was quite vicious.

the second goal was brilliant though, Drogba walked all over Hyppia to put the ball in the box.

but i thought Gerrards goal was good too. he hit it so hard. any other player hitting that and Petr Cezh would have stopped it (he got a hand to it but it was smashed so hard it went through his hand) and it was nicely placed too

and calling Crouch useless is a bit harsh. the people in the studio were right, it was Liverpools service that was the problem. you can't expect a striker to convert after a crap cross can you. he was getting no service. i'm glad he's in the England squad
