Hey everytime i try to check my email via hotmail i get some sort of virus.. even before i open anything up it says its maleware.. i have atvast... and yea anyone else having a problem or can help me??? cause i need to check my mail and i cant because it wont let me onto the site do to the malware...(cough spinner cough help!! lol)

well when i put the file name it gives the link... and i dont want to put a link to a potential virus so yea... and for all i know its a link to my inbox... but here is the rest of the stuff

You have got malware on your computer use your anti-virus and scan your computer if you have got 1 you have got1?

yes i have one, but its weird.. im not even getting any email threw hotmail... and that shouldnt have anything to do with it right???

And then click on your e-mails.

ok so run me through this, is it when:

- you enter the url www.hotmail.com

- you enter your correct details and start the login

- or when you open the desired email.

when i log onto hotmail and click on my inbox, then i get the virus warning thing.. before i can even open any mail

Ok, hotmail uses stored visual basic scripts and one of these has been infected.

Make sure the antivirus is up to date, clear your browser history including downloaded program files, reboot, and run a full virusscan immediately.

It should clean everything that way.

yea thanks spinner, i did everythign but reboot lol after i rebooted everything works fine.. that was really odd tho
