Can I firstly enquire why you insist on using caps for the first letter of each word?

What happens when you simply attempt to delete this file?

Another thing to add is... its your own fault for downloading from limewire!

Lol I Really Don't Know.. Just Picked It Up From Somewhere.. I'll Stop Lol

Well it doesn't have the option to delete when i right click, and i can't send to the recycle bin.
I know lol, i've uninstalled Limewire, don't use it anymore, I've learnt from my mistakes!

Feels weird with no caps

Get a copy of MoveOnBoot:
http://www.softwarepatch.com/software/moveonboot.html

There are no DOS commands, just a simple 3-step process.

Step 1: Locate the name of the file that is causing your problems.

Step 2: Decide if you want to copy, move or delete the file.

Step 3. Choose a destination for moving the file, or a new file name for the rename option (this option won't appear as you are deleting the file).

Click OK to confirm you want to process.

Reboot your computer.

Have you run a malware scan of any kind?

What was the size of the file?
There is a lot of spoof files on Limewire, more than ever.
Theres usually a lot of results with stupidly small file sizes which aren't actually songs.
Looks to me like you got one of those.
What is the filename?

Yeah I've run AVG scans a few times, didn't effect it.

It's 4.96Mb..

And yeah i know what you mean, when i used to use it, every search i put in e.g. rap music: it would come up with 'rap music porn right here!' (or something along those lines) pathetic lol

It's something like '2006 Newest remix' then loads of artist names.

Aah hope someone can help? lol

Well pointed out, if you do insist on downloading files from such sites watch out for the file sizes.

Basic rule of thumb:
Extra large file size = Bad boy virus
Very small file size =

4.69Mb is quite average for a music file though?

Do you have any alternative anti-spyware or anti-virus products downloaded?

Play
add to now playing list
add to playlist...
add to sync list
add to burn list
open with...

send to >

(so just the normal list i get on all music files, just doesn't have delete and such like)

Okay thought of a solution (should work).

- Move all other files out of that folder.

- Delete the folder (where the single file is contained, this should allow the delete function to appear)

- Create a new folder.

- Shove the other files back in

If that fails:

- try renaming the file to a smaller file name, then try deleting

If that fails:

- Restart the computer, as it boots up tap F8 and select Safe Mode. Then locate the file and try deleting again...

I'm sure I can think of more possibilities its just running through them all to find the solution to that particular file

Hmm have you noticed any side effects such as a change in the performance of the computer or any pop ups?

If not then I'm sure its okay, also did it play or not?
