Can somone help me please, i cannot connect my playstation to the internet, i have my ethernet cable plugged into the back of my playstation i have put in my IP address...ETC and i have tried without the ethernet cable and just scanned for my connection but it cannot pick it up and i am literally 2 foot away from the modem? i am using virgin...

At the start cause my internet wont work at all it wont connect it cant scan for it and it doesnt pick it up with the thernet cable in
