I am looking for:

- at most 10 teams of 5 players
- and one captain out of the five.

Post up your team players, (inc. captain) and a team name

Each week you will have 2 teams to play, and you play each team in the league twice!

If a player is inactive and doesn't give a reason, then somebody may take his place.

Format:

3 games of 8 Ball Arcade
3 games of 9 Ball Arcade

I'll join this, ill get a team of 5 together later on when i come online again. Mean while if anyone wants on the team message me, not sure i want to captain it though.

its a random draw for teams, so if you would get 5 players to join then thats cool, but it is designed so the teams would be equal (enough) - so we get a real battle for the title!

If it is to be done by a random draw then why do people have to pick team names? Random draw always means you are at risk of being put in the same time as a person you do not like or dislikes you.

Real battle for the title is a good team who play their butts off to win it like any league teams do. Not many people like arcade so the pick of the top players or what ever is very limited.

you can choose to be captain, then you pick a team name, doesn't mean choosing the players you pick

the point of this tourney, is to have a laugh, not complietely obliterate the weaker players, with this format. Everyone has a chance, and if you have a problem with somebody, I will try my best to get round that problem..

You forget one thing though..... it is arcade! 70% of it is relying on luck and luck alone, add another 25% on to that when it comes to 9 Arcade.

Yeh, as i always say, true challenge is 5 sec of both arc games..if its at 15 sec and up, you have great chance of losing!

Okay, listen...this is a tester...if this doesn't work very well...then we'll try your proposal next year, just bear with me and chow down lol

Feel really sorry for you if you think this is a big argument, compared to some of the crap you will inevitably get for running an event, when something doesn't go right. Which let's be honest is quite a bit. Good luck though.

I don't even think that classes as an argument, more of a discussion.
