Hardly pointless if there are 4 or 5 players that could win.

One of the reasons for all of this is trying to come up with events and schedules for the site that cater for, and appeal to, all types of players of all types of ability and experience.

Hence these types of tournaments, the normal types of tournaments, the Micros (if they return in some new shape or form), one-off random/unusual tournament formats and the Day/Week/Month events.

Clearly each type of challenge will not appeal to every member. However that does not stop anyone from giving any of them a go if they wish.

it's already started, you join it like a regular tournament. It's the first sunday of every month at 9pm. Next one should be 6th April, not sure which format it will be.
