everytime this pops up it freezes my game...been booted out of many tourneys because of it....I have updated from outwith the pool site but the thing still pops up...anyone else having this or had this problem and if so how did you sort it

is the one everyone seems to use and it works..

do not update it at all man and try it on friefox.

Freezes on me as well sometimes

Had same issue all night while using my son's pc with the up to date java version. Use java 8 update 31 it works but there may be security issues

im on 8.65 and it works with i.e. only prob I get is with premiums in tourneys that pop up freezes me unless its not a tourney then I can click close and continue

it does has its flaws when playing other premium members..switch to 8-31

iv heard in the grapevine that nick is about again and is working on java asap! so hopefully this will put a stop to the issues of java with players.

Could try the following:

Control Panel
Java
Advanced Tab
Under: Mixed Code (sandboxed vs. trusted) security verification
Move the black dot to: Disable Verification (Not recommended) but it works.

* IF it doesn't then just make sure you put the setting back to what it was on - no harm done. You'll probably still get the prompt (Security Warning Banner) pop up but the RUN is accessible.

if u have 64 bit
you need to load both 32 and 64 bit offline versions

if not 32 bit only

GOD you are a mong at times.... your "advice" here has been crapped on and you received feedback that it was crap.

you do not need both versions....MOST IF NOT ALL BROWSERS ARE STILL 32BIT regardless if you have a 64BIT OS

I don't download 64 bit so its false (On 32 Bit). No problems in over a year on 32 bit so why should i download 64 too lol.

It means if your on 32 Bit then download 32, if on 64 Bit then download 64, not both

Java Version 8 Update 73 works fine too by the way - I happen to agree with skidmarx here. I know some who have downloaded the 64 bit just because their operating system is and the computer still doesn't recognize Java had been downloaded.

So to be on the safe side and to not add any further confusion or discontent with java I suggest keeping to the 32-bit ONLY.

ive been using update 31 and still got the java prompts then a freeze

tried the 73 update and still the same

that's 3 tournaments in the last 24 hours

think ill just leave it for now and mibbe join the site in a few months if the probs been sorted as its a bit of a bummer getting booted out of games on regular occassions

Mate admin are aware of the issue with regards to tournaments- it's happening to a lot of players. The issue occurs when a Premium Member meets and Non Premium one.

Hopefully this issue will be dealt with but in the meantime we just have to accept it for what it is.

Java 8 update 31 does work and make sure you only have that version installed too - you can check this through; Control Panel, Change the view to Category then Add/Remove Programs.

You can also adjust the Security settings too via the JAVA icon but I wouldn't recommend you change anything without knowing what they are.

Admin are aware of the issue and they will do their best to try and resolve it as soon as they can. Hope you stay, we are low on the ground with numbers as it is.
