Talk away here about any boxer/fight

I hope Ricky hatton doesnt retire, he was beaten big time by the 2 best pound for pound fighters at the two different weights, apart from that he is better than the rest.....in my opinion

After watching his first interview since the fight it looks like he's going to quit. He said he will give an answer in the next 3 weeks but insists that if he does retire that he will stay in the boxing game and become a promoter.

Hatton can still hold his head up high - not only was he a great fighter, but also a great advocate to boxing - his attitude towards his opponents and fans should be remembered just as much as his quality in the ring!!

Mayweather vs Pacman will be immense. I'm gonna go with a Pacman 5th round knockout!

Anyone been following David Haye? The guy is hilarious. I always fear for light-heavyweights moving up, he can take and give a punch, but he's gonna try and jumpin the ring with two of the biggest boxers in the heavyweight division! How very British of him....

lol.....another guy too look out for is Manchesters own Tyson Fury.......jeeeeees hes huge, stands about 6' 7" and totally demorilises everything he punches, I think hes had a handful of fights and is getting trimmer each time.....he is a bit untidy looking, but its whats at the end of that glove that counts, hes still available to watch on ITV...for now

It wouldnt surprise me if Ricky Hatton did quit, like you said hes a true ambassador of the sport and a true Gentleman.

Yeah David Haye has gone a bit to far with his next fight i can't see it lasting to long. The thing i like about David Haye is the speed he has on his punches which alot of heavyweights dont have.

As for Tyson Fury i aint seen to much of him so i looked him up on you tube and come across this clip.. very funny

IMO Ricky is done now. He has made his millions and should retire while people still remember that win over Tszyu. Any future fights are going to be a no win situation. He will not get another major, major fight I don't think and his options then are limited. If he beats a non-top class fighter then it is because the fighter was not world class. If he loses, he proves he was not good enough....no win situation.

Junior Witter is still calling him out, and Ricky might be tempted to take that fight now for one last payday.....imo if Witter thinks he is good enough he should start calling out Manny now.....he won't get it for a while but if he acts like Ricky is an afterthought, and then beats him while calling out Manny, he might get a shot!

I think Manny will knock out Floyd as well, that will be an awesome fight though.

David Haye = legend.

He promotes himself so well, the T-shirt was a genius stroke. Even if he goes and loses to Klitschko he will be made for life. If he beats him, which I do not rule out, he will get his shot at the big brother......right now, he is our best chance of unifying the division, as whilst the Klitschko's have titles, will never happen.

Haye has a big mouth but he does have the skills to back it up.
If Vitali hadn't pulled out of the Stamford Bridge fight, I would have gone as it is the day before my birthday. Instead I'll watch him fight Wlad in a pub

As for Tyson Fury, this guy could well be the man to unify the Heavyweight division in a few years.
He started his career on the undercard of the Carl Froch v Jean Pascal fight last year.

He is signed to Hennessey Promotions as well, Mick is building a good stable of fighters there.....could soon overtake Frank Warren as Britain's Don King???? Lol..

Thus far, he has won all 5 of his fights....two TKO's, 2 retirements and 1 KO after 48 seconds last month!

Although Tidnab is correct in that he hails from Manchester, his heritage is a gypsy background.

His father and grandfather were both boxers as well and he is named after Madmike xD

A little update, after a 2nd round TKO last month, Tyson fights on June 13th on the undercard of the British Lightweight Title fight between John Murray and Scott Lawton.

His opponent according to wikipedia is still undetermined, which seems strange with the fight three days away!

I am definitly going to try and get along to one of his forthcoming fights.

He didnt pull out he got injured, and it looks like it aint gonna be rearranged now even, i think this is best in long run to give Haye some actual time fighting as a heavyweight, was a stupid idea to jump in at the champs at such an early stage.

He pulled out because he was injured

He will get his shot next year I think, Klitschko is gonna fight one more time before he gives him another shot, but his mouth means he will get another shot!

both klitschko's are over rated i think, they have just dominated a weak division all they have is power, nothing on past world champs.

Amir Kahn fighting this weekend, what to people expect, i think with trainer freddie roach who is near enough if not best trainer in the world kahn could come out with a knockout if he keeps it cool, unlikley to go to decision.

Tyson Fury won again, hes got a shot at the English Heavyweight title coming up soon, should get a shot at the British Title soon as well.

Anyone seen the super six super middleweight tournament thats been signed.....Froch, Kessler and Taylor, Abraham, Dirrel and Ward.......that will be ace!

Shame Bute and B-Hop arent involved mind, I fancy a Kessler v Froch final, hope he comes out of the tournament unbeaten still

shame he was only sparring some punch bag, wasnt exciting too watch....the light heavyweight between Cleverly and McIntosh was rather good.......McIntosh stook his chin out once too often in jest and got hammered behind the ear.....haha
