That's disappointing, especially considering the reason for banning him is entirely in that staff members head. A shaft is a technical term and a word relevant to pool and pool cues. Anything inferred by someone is simply them projecting their own thoughts onto a simple word.
Ridiculous doesn't cover it, especially with the amount of clearly intended sexual innuendo you can find all over the forum, even on threads which staff themselves frequent and clearly can observe yet do nothing about.
What is worse is clearly it is a matter of opinion in which some small minded person has taken exception, that same username which is deemed inappropriate clearly wasn't so inappropriate as to be rejected for his profile picture.
What a joke, surely dr_lovepump has to go as well then, makes no difference when the name was created, can't have one rule for mods and another for members. baff?

all banned within 10 days

you tell admin and mods what to do
who the heck are you lot
rules are rules
think first, if YOUR player or players made an appropriate account in the first place you wouldn't even be having this conversation (such drama)
its hardly admins fault is it, maybe get your players or player to act appropriately in the first instance
maybe you should advise this player with the wealth of experience you lot have
as dodgy as it has been in the past
you talk about me being banned, I was once banned for making a comment about a mod (abrfc)
all you seem to do is berate admin and mods
I would ban the lot of you, because as you say, if one player has an inappropriate name he should go and so should another
well you should be banned as that also follows a precedent
but as always you lot get away with everything
seems to me a lot of non paying members have a lot to say once again on how this site is run

also admin / mods give their time free, something lost on you, instead of berating them with a tirade of abuse
maybe take on board and embrace the good work they do
