Very big effort involved, would involve assigning a price value to every player (roughly 16 per clan is going to be 120 ish). Then to keep track of each of those for every FCL fixture and keep them updated per team (very little effort to maintain that selection, so could end up with a lot of players joining and being inactive).

Possible though, with help and if you keep things manageable. Personally I would give a strict budget and get a good spreadsheet set up. Maybe reduce the amount of players per team or reduce which players to choose from so new accounts aren't included (as they may be much better than they appear to be if it is a fake newbie). Also could (depending how many clans there are) have people choose only one player per clan.

Why not your aloud 2 players per team aloud to be picked , and if the underdog wins , they get bonus points and the other player loses a few points. Maybe a run out or golden break or 7 balling gets more points that fixture? about the 2 player thing so you can't pick uprising and pros to complete your whole team

A fun idea if it works.

Need to get round the potential for clans to not pick certain players just to ruin the Fantasy teams of others. Hidden teams probably gets round that one though.

No bonus points for being an "underdog" it defeats the object. Points are based solely on results.

Right some basics:

- 10 players (2 subs)
- No more than 2 from each team
- Transfers allowed once every other fixture set
- Player values assigned based on this seasons golden cue results, any players that were not involved in this season will have their value assigned based on the opinion of a group of volunteers.

The next thing that needs input would be the scoring system itself?

Just one from each team should help, and a strict budget. Not every player will be playing in every set (therefore not scoring). Could allow 2 transfers per set (done before fixtures are released). Think everyone has their own varying opinion which should give a few differences in teams (particularly the lower prices players).

For each players price tag, their value should be based on a mix of their frame win % and the amount of games they play (because that is their value to each team they are picked for).

It would be easiest scoring wise to use a spreadsheet and formulae, and for what it is it shouldn't require anything overly complicated.

It's unfair to have it as 1 from each team. At the end of the day, nobody picks a player from Burnley or Leicester in Fantasy Football so why does someone have to pick from the worst team in Funky?

Wouldn't every one have the same 8?

The budget would be set to an amount which means you can't just pick the top 8 players on the site, you'd have to pick weaker or lower value players in order to fill the side. So a player like beenjammin or dvz would take up maybe 30% of your budget meaning you have to chop and change.

I'm also thinking that at each quarter of the season player values are altered slightly dependent on form?

Or only one from each side?

8 players with only 7 teams Ash

Oops lol,

maybe 1 from every other team and 2 from your own team? that would make it harder?

I have Danny Ings in mine, every team has some star performers, and the odd player who can pull out the odd shock

If you want to pick one player from each team then that'd be your decision but i figure that the less constricting the rules are the more variation you have in teams and ultimately in scores.

You wouldn't bat an eye at people picking players from West Ham or Southampton now, when at the start of the season there would be very few who would pick a lot from those. Even now there are gems in the bottom sides. Mahrez, Ings and Austin all play for the bottom clubs and score very well and many one who had those players in from the start would have played a masterstroke. Having to pick a player from every clan means more skill instead of just loading up from the top teams.

Makes things easier should a clan fold too

I'm simply saying 2 from each team as a maximum so that if players can find a way to pick 10 players from the top 5 teams while staying within budget then they should be able to. Nobody is going to be able to load up 5 pro's and 5 uprising players due to the budget constrictions so I really don't think it's a worry

Players pick a first choice and a second choice sub, if a clan folds and the player doesn't choose a new player of the same value or less then his first choice sub is automatically entered into his team. Sound fair?

It would force variety, if you limit people to one player from pros and uprising then they are less likely to have the same choices as if they could pick two (e.g. Instead of choosing between corsair and cgibson92, they could choose both). Most people would pick 2 from all the top clans, then the best 2 from whatever they could get. So 8 out of 10 from the top four clans and the other two (which may be the subs). Leaves very few players used from the top set of clans. To me that would lessen how many players would be picked.

At the end of the day, Fantasy Football works. They don't enforce a 1 player from each team rule and we might as well try to keep it as alike to the real thing because that's a proven format. All we're doing is changing the sport

In FF there is 20 teams to choose from and lets say 8 top teams. we have only seven. The way you wanna do it, you will end up with many identical teams picked, wich is boring. The others will be similar to them.
one from 6 teams and 2 players from the seventh would pretty much make sure tht you will not get 2 identical teams.
It would also make it more interesting imo, for example- who are you gonna pick from FPD-s? Eventually, that might decide the final result between the players who, lets say, have all picked the same players from the top 3-4 teams.
If we would have 20 clans then yes, your idea would work but as it stands, it wouldnt be that much fun as you think it will be.
Just my opinion, tryin 2 be helpful here
