I completely agree, maybe it's better to be 7-6 up rather than 9-4 as there's more chance every rack will be finished lol..
I don't get why the 9 havnt been added, don't mind where I finish in the GC to be honest, just thought it would be nice for the 9 racks to be added to make me the only player who won 100 racks in FCL this season, which would show the commitment I had to playing every fixture this season

I totally agree mate - been trying to get the 9 at least added you won them fair and square.

Can I also just check what would happen if I had for example an 80% rack win rate in FCL

And in my last fixture was 13-1 down and decided to just quit, surely that then wouldn't go against me and I'd probably win the golden cue.

You should only be penalized for your own actions not your opponents. He was the one who quit and you would have easily completed the fixture if he didn't.

I find it very harsh and unfair on you. I think any fixture which passes the 50% completed threshold should work in the players favour not against.

Anyway I'm not going to lose sleep over this lol, just trying to point out the rule doesn't make sense and it really should be reviewed.

Would hate to see someone lose the golden cue because of this rule, luckily for me it doesn't matter as I finished in a lowly 10th haha

I actually agree with fresh here. The 9 frames you won along with the 4 you lost should be counted, as they didn't go to default. Only the 2 unplayed frames were technically defaulted.

The format will be a round robin stage, in which the top 2 will qualify for a knockout stage, 15 players are taking part and we have one BYE (group of 3)

the guy can pot, when he concentrates his position play is very good too. he was naive at times which gave me chances. main problem with these games was the fact I made the chances then didn't manage to finish them, chances I would usually bury especially as I played great making the chance of the finish. it wasn't even my potting letting me down I didnt miss a pot til the last frame. (tried to sum up without using the "L" word)
once he settles in hes going to be a great player, also will soon learn game etiquette soon I hope. usually one reserves the word "phew" for a narrow escape on your part, not when your opponent is damn unlucky not to runout.

Very close match mate, well done on the 7 and yeah he can pot very nicely. Still it's a friendly so thanks both for playing the game, nice close encounter.
