well, I won the first one, then potted the 8 from what I thought was a safe situation.
The next two games i set myself up nicely only to leave tough shots on the black, which i both missed. Both wouldve been 7-balling for me and instead went as losses. so 3-1 down instead of 3-1 up. THen he ran out and cleared from my breakoff (both nicely) to finish it.
