Like how you comment on Chelsea's demise, but won't comment on your team being taught a lesson, or that horrendous dive by Januzaj (personally think he should be banned for a few games) or the fact United lost again

I agree the dive was appalling, I don't rate januzaj funny enough, never have. Over rated, tries to be too clever and most the time falls flat on his face.

My comment were about the pathetic tactics employed by Chelsea not an excuse for a Liverpool fan to get on a United band wagon again

We are playing horrendous atm but I think Summer signings will make or break what already is a fragile squad. I still have full confidence in LVG. Good to see Liverpool playing well but come to think of it they couldn't play any worse I mean they'll never be United lol.

Chelsea deserved to lose last night, rolling around like been shot, Hazard needs a medal for diving too, great player, quick feet, lightning skill, 6.0 for diving Game in, Game out.

Great solo effort and goal by Rooney - C'mon United!!!

That's what I like to hear ^ drastic overconfidence pride before a fall

Abject Spurs, prove exactly why they aren't top four material. Fail to their direct rivals and I think that might be the end of their realistic hopes of the top 4. Down to the three into two. As Savage said, the head to head between Liverpool and United is likely to decide it and I think it's set up nicely now. Both sides with think of 3 points, both know failure could mean finishing out of the top 4 and no CL.

Important match for Liverpool first though, Swansea.

Both teams are in form atm, pains me to say it but Liverpool are playing better out of the two. That was the first convincing win Utd have had in the past couple of months so they still have room for improvement. Should be a good game.

So relieved about Evertons win today, 3-0 flattered us as it was by no means convincing. Still got to play a few in the bottom 6 yet so any slip up and were in a dog fight.

Glad to see Jonas back for Newcastle, and us Evertonians gave him a fantastic welcoming this afternoon, even I was on my feet giving him a standing ovation.

I think United will be more than ready for the Pool, Di Maria's to return I reckon possibly Falcao upfront too with Rooney. United were brilliant in the 1st half - defended very well in the 2nd.

Not going to get carried away but IF we can replicate a similar performance vs Liverpool then the match IMO should be won by United.

Very good 3-0 for Everton and good to see 3 different scorers too.

United need to perform like that or they should be blown away, their usual slow pace would be overrun on the counter by the pace of the Liverpool attack.

If they do, then we'll get an end to end match which will go down to whoever can take their chances. I think the big difference with be the midfield battle. Can United deal with Coutinho?

Yeah easily - Can Liverpool deal with Fellaini IF he plays like he did vs Spurs? Smalling had a great game yesterday so he can deal with Sturridge as well with Phil Jones.

Can see both sides playing similar formations and more than likely cancel each other out. I agree it'll come down too who takes their chances, at Anfield our record isn't brilliant but amongst the topsy-turvy season a lot of the normal/regular results have gone astray. United don't often beat Spurs at Old Trafford, so that's been dealt with.

Actually the whole season for EVERY side there have been results which NO ONE could have even fathomed let alone come to fruition.

Been a very good season and ALL places are up for grabs. Can see Poyet parting ways with Sunderland today - i think he'll resign.

got to say I'm out on Poyet
he doesn't seem to be able to changes things
he appears to want to continue his style which simply isn't working

I've been worried for a while, so much will hinge on the Sunderland v Newcastle game
if we win it could pick us up
lose and we are truly sunk, the fans will make it unbearable for him to stay

we were embarrassing to say the least
Chris Sutton said we played like a pub team, Poyet was deeply upset by his comments

well he truly must have a had ear defenders on
because trust me the fans said a lot worse

if he was an honourable man he should walk
problem being is we will have another 10 players in next season, which makes for another dog fight if we survive this one

gutted

I think if Lucas plays on Sunday then Fellaini will be out of the game, as for being excited for Falcao to start up top with Rooney, have you missed the first 28 games of the season mate? He has been absolutely dog turd.

Even Di Maria recently has been poor, but I thik the rest over the weekend will have invigorated him and he will come back stronger, But with Gerrard and Lucas both looking fit I think we will have enough defensively to mark them both out the game which will mean Rooney will be trying to do 3 jobs and it will make him less effective.

Then you couple your terrible and rather slow defence vs our fast and tricky attack on paper it would mean that David De Gea will get yet another man of the match performance this season or it could be a disasterous day for United.

^^^ All what I have said is based on form/ability on paper etc etc, but we all know massive games like this aren't decided on those factors.

I think our mentality has been great recently but that demolition of Spurs by United and the favt they could just relax for 45 mins of the match will mean they have a lot of confidence. It's gonna be close, very close I reckon.

I will go for 2-1 either way with at least 1 penalty and 1 red card. (team who gets red card to lose but hard to call yet haha)

Exactly, if he plays like he did in one game against a team who traditionally does bad against the top teams. Coutinho had been a handful all season against better teams. A comparison between him and Fellaini is target funny . One good game for Smalling doesn't stop him being terrible for where he is. Jones is prone to a big mistake in games too.

Before yesterday spurs had two wins in a row at Old Trafford, after 9 in a row for United(as part of a 26 game unbeaten streak) So I think you'll find you do beat spurs often at Old Trafford . Not sure you watch the right game Ash.

As for Sunderland, I really think Poyet is a good manager. I just think he has resigned himself to defeat and lost the dressing room a bit, he just needs a change of mentality.

There is no better time for him than now to turn it around, with the international break coming up it is the kind of thing he needs to win the dressing room back. Take those who aren't out on international duty on a team bonding exercise, a weekend away with a few fun activites... something that doesn't sound much but builds up trust and teamwork.

Sunderland have the squad and manager to be aiming top 12/13 they just need that kick up the backside and with a change of mentality I think they will be fine.

I'd give him the season, a new manager will just cause more problems and then settling in etc, there is onnly 9/10 games to go I think he will keep you safe.

I like Home & Away - ooops what can i say lol. - Well used too, not anymore.

Anyways moving on - I think the Liverpool vs United match has come at the right time and will be a great match. Obviously I'm going to want the team i like to win and you, yours. Nothing wrong with that, I hope it's a quality match and not a bore which usually happens after such a build up.

Best matches of the Season these are so, bring it on. Just hope we can replicate a similar performance like yesterday.
