Bit harsh knocking me out the competition cos I had computer issues for a couple of days near the deadline when I was on every other day since fixtures were released. i know we could have played the other day but it was a mutual decision to leave it to another day. If we can play it tonight could it count? feels harsh not being given a shot after coming so far...

You need to post to show effort, this isn't like a normal default, effort must be shown and posted to progress, been did so he rightfully progressed.

Hopefully this is a learning curve to all the guys next season, post effort if its Players Champ and if opponent doesn't respond or post you go through, equal effort is a double dq

nah thats a joke. the reason I couldn't post is same reason I was offline 4 days. the intent to play was always there as been will back up. bet if it was other way round he'd be allowed to play it. I know it's hard to kick the reputation that the league runner favour players from one team over another, maybe if you're reasonable in these situations you'd lose the reputation.
disqualifying someone for something out of their control after both players made equal effort for majority of the fixture is a joke tbh

Correct me if I'm mistaken but I'm sure there's been a extension on one of the previous rounds, surely as both players are willing, wouldn't the fairest plan of action be they play it amicably when it suits them? ASAP

Myself and thegame26 did whatever we could to try and get joeyy online, but without internet connection that's impossible. I do think there's insufficient ground to DQ anyone here and common sense should prevail.

Well i'm not the runner and Joey you also had 4 days to play? you could have posted saying you arranged then playing another time. If you don't post effort Keith doesn't know your making effort.

As explained in message the rules in player championship are straight forward, if only one player has posted that player goes through. It is unfortunate that you had no internet but most people could access even to post via a smartphone. It is also amazing that your 4 days of problems have cleared up a day too late.

I have to laugh that rather than post stating your case you have decided to question that as a league runner I would be biased towards certain players. Please feel free to speak to dvz who is a player that I class as one of my friends on here who got dsq in an earlier round for the same reason, yet if I was biased I could have treated him differently.
