Because uprising have folded, so "why couldn't..." is a moot point. Stu folded uprising and therefore any players from uprising who still wish to play clan pool are all free agents and can choose where they would like to go.

We needed players and have spaces to fill so in order to be able to field a team in a next season we have filled spaces with free agents only.

Nobody was forced.

I'd understand if we had a full team and were continuing to add player after player for quality only but before we recruited anybody we were on 8 players for next season maximum. So if there is to be another season we needed to recruit in order to take part just like anybody else.

There was only one team that was already fully equipped for another season and that team was/is phoenix. It's not about us signing uprising players, it's about us signing good players that Ash himself unsuccessfully tried to sign for a team that already has 15/16 players.

And you didn't even have to suck up to any of them!

Out of the 6 new players we've acquired 4 of them had already been asked by Ash.

He tried to sign dvz, and also asked asdfghjk (Mike_though) before we signed any new players. Fortunately both of them declined as they are happy where they are, but had that not been the case we'd have been on 6 players.

James and his forming clan are trying their best to get the bare minimum in order to be able to compete in a new season and ash tried to take Sebo from them! Put into perspective it's a little hypocritical.

I have no problem with who the players are or their supposed calibre, my point's solely based upon why the need to fold another team when all or most of their top players are 'sticking around?'

I did not kill BM, players opted to leave to join what's been proven to be a 'much better thing and team' (Phoenix) it only goes to show how right their decisions were. The fact the Captain (pixie_dust) at that present time was juggling her own life, work and family whilst trying to run a team only encouraged players to follow my breakaway one.

Sebo was asked...correct but after deciding and funnily enough conversing with you DeeDee I rescinded my offer as we believe it to be a multiple account . If all you're doing is merging then I still do not see why they couldn't stay in existence and just appoint a new figure head.

And sure there are many of them sticking around, but there are many who are not, and stu no longer has the time to captain a team because he spent a lot of this ongoing season struggling to get players on to complete their games.

So rather than risk another season with a team that is half active and half inactive, it makes more sense the players who wish to stay in clan pool go elsewhere so they don't put in hard work for a season to be let down by others losing interest.

You were making wise cracks about us having players from uprising when I'd only signed 2 at that point (both of which you yourself had asked) so I'm inclined to believe it is nothing but sour grapes.

As for Sebo, sure you took back your offer for particular reasons but none of those reasons were the fact that if James' clan doesn't get up and running there will be no new season.
Just like we wouldn't have been able to participate without new signings either. So gaining one team to lose 2 seems a little pointless.
