the thread title is proposed tournament schedule
not harp on about ranked games thread

you can blame anything you want for ranked games not being played:
here are a few

there is next to no ranked game rooms with people in them
so says it all really, people aren't to bothered

killer rooms are very busy late evening
why because people like to play in them

tournaments are one of the busiest parts of the game
why because people like to play in them

clans do well and always have games
why because people like to play in them

so instead of cribbing about get rid of something that works,
how about looking at bringing more members to the site
increase traffic

what will happen there,
new players cant log in
new players read forums the greatest advert for new players, deal with what we have, not what isn't going to be

there are 2 many clan games that's simple enough to see
when people harp on about the old days
there was one league only, it stares you in the face

now there are
3 leagues
cups
individual championships
killer tournaments
16 players in a team

go back to one league, one cup
reduce team numbers

more teams more players waiting on games
COULD HELP RANKED GAMES
less hassle trying to get games played
MAKES THREADS BETTER
makes more sense than anything posted
but hey James that's my opinion

No worries. I'm getting paid for it, gives me something do as It's that boring in work, while you are wasting your spare time on something that is going to get you absolutely no where.

Nick said It was 2 much work years ago, so what are the chances of him even considering it now when he has no interest whatsoever in making changes to the site anymore, use your brain it doesn't take much working out, even for someone like yourself.

I think this is a good idea

the no black ball extra life speeds the game up
so it doesn't drag out for hours or make it 2 lives
spoken to a few people about it
and most like the idea

Boom!!! Like I said I answered your question. Admins job isn't to drip feed the brainless the same information over and over. You can keep asking the same question but I truly truly hope they give this the answer is dignifies and that is none!

There's loads more. It's best looking through the forum first before creating pointless threads.

You could try one in Pool Events (If its in a day like a tournament you need time limit and a DQ system). If its stretched out then you could do what Pool Killer does and ask players to give you times and you pick a time.

But if two people show what happens? unless you play 8US and think of killer rules not 8US rules.

Seems complicated though but in reality it can't be an actual tournament unless nick makes the time and puts more effort in to research how to do more than two players in a round.

again you cant speak on behalf of admin, or for that matter the owner of the site

Killer tournament,yes but only with regular killer players. Ive never seen thread maker in a killer game.

Would love to see this but as mentioned years ago unless it has changed nick can only do Single Elimination tournaments (2 players) so i don't think it is possible

But even if it is, i can't see it personally due to nicks busy schedule

Just curious why 10 seconds when most other tournaments are 20seconds?

I think the dynamics of it would be very good idea but I'd stick to normal killer rules with a 20 second time limit, people who play a game of killer know what they're getting into in terms of time constraints so would be no different here

I say bin the rank system and the ranked frames in tournies, make it closer to real life where players earn their ranking through tournaments, could use the tournapoint system where enough points could be made available to give out points from round 2 or 3, for example you could earn say 3 or 4 points for each round you get through, thats probably more than some get now, this way the amount of points available in a tourney is the same for everyone, obviously the points available would vary depending on how many enter each tournament.
Players could still be tagged as newbie and pro etc but get there by doing well in tournies, was also thinking ranks could be reset after a set time for players to build up again to find their true rank, some of us aint as good as we used to be so our rank might not reach as high as previous, this would also show who the better / in form players are.
Was thinking due to no killer tournaments we could keep the current rank system for that.

Just a thought and probably not everyones cup of tea but it will be interesting to know what people think.

there are so many tournaments every day but sometimes there are 2 of the same tournaments on at the same time plus you have an hour slot free... i know some people may moan about me asking for another tournament added, but with the free slot would it be possible to add a killer tournament? or a killer micro? as you can have upto 15 players and shouldnt be too hard to implement?
