I asked once for a straight practice table, and so it happened..

Craig it's all part of the wannabe New Revolution.
Apart from The actual Revolution which is in fact just a full circle and starts right back at the beginning. (so does this topic)
People have been calling for changes for a fair while now, as none have been implemented then that in itself proves they are content with it how it is. IF players have problems or issues then deal with them, I agree adapt.
LOL to snooker players being told not to snooker - next will be in straight those with a lower rank be given a head start.

I think this is the only way it can be done.
In a sense I think the Straight practice run should be added, kind of in the same way as they do Carom on snooker. Also add the success out of 100 like they do in Carom too, but I don't think the break should be used as a shot.
It could look like this.
Highest straight run:47
Highest straight practice run: 38
Highest straight practice total : 82
It could look like this.
Highest straight run:47
Highest straight practice run: 38
Highest straight practice total : 82

always said they should use straight, also have its own logo on the practice table like an "S" or something as its annoying on the US table as when you rerack it goes back to US then different combinations so you could think your on Straight but your on US.
also when waiting for a Straight game the practice mode is US not Straight

Why fix something that isn't broke?
Works well as it is in my opinion, this way it takes skill and as eemad says just learn where to whack it and you have an advantage, why not just get a straight practice up pot the balls so there is the pack left with the one ball potted and try different angles and ways of smashing into the pack.
Once you believe you have mastered where and how to hit it, you may change your mind about the rule.

Great with the straight practice! Apart from that it doesn't change back to US8 if you keep clicking it unless you click onto another game and go back onto it.

Ok - it did reset to zero on second occasion - not sure what happened first time - maybe cos I potted 3 balls but all is well now.....

I notice if you pot twice in one shot it doesnt reset run to zero - can this patch be incorporated into next update?

Thanks - will look into that.
EDIT: Yes, this will currently fail if white is in this area at game end. This will be fixed next patch. In addition runs of 5 or over will be displayed in your chat window at run end.

When I came to the re-rack and the cue ball was where the pack was re-racked I had no option to place the cue ball behind the line to carry on - not sure if thats just me or a fault.

Yeah you can - pot of the break, clear the table (doesnt have to be all stripes/solids potted can be mix of both) and then pot of the break again

Straights played on the 8 us table - whats wrong with using the 8 us practice table
Certainly no where near the priority of the new features
