Im like in a match on snooker or pool and half way through it a message pops up saying internet has to close and stuff. its really annyoing me and just now its been refusing to let me go on anything. why is this happening and can anything be done about it?

does it say anything about a "add on" if so its the same thing i am getting, only happening on funkypool and no other site, if it happens to me today i will get more infomation on it then perhaps someone can help us

Are you on dialup damee?

If so, then check the properties of the connection and disable "disconnect if idle for more than "xx" minutes".

Sometimes the small amounts of data being transferred during games isn't enough to keep the connection active.

Kev - the only add-on which should affect funkypool is Java.

Try going to www.java.com and downloading the latest versin, to see if this helps.

im not on dial up.. and its just done it to me again and lost points on snooker

I think i suggested this on snooker, but i think you have either a corrupted install of Java/Browser, or possibly a spyware issue.

To be sure :

Uninstall Java from control panel, all versions (there may be more than one).

Clear browser history including downloaded program files.

Reboot computer.

Visit windows update ( http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/ ) to make sure everything is up to date and to run the malware removal tool.

Visit http://www.java.com and download a fresh installation.

And hopefully, thats you sorted!
