To avoid the Uprising thread being overtaken again, thought I would make a new thread.
Man united lose 1-0 to Newcastle
Van Persie ineffective, in all sorts of trouble now. Still can't see them getting a top 4 place without massive changes, and not gonna challenge for the title.
Chelsea lose 3-2 to Stoke
Quite a surprise, though maybe not so much after the midweek goal fest. Shows they aren't the same side they used to be under Jose and they need work defensively. Lukaku and Courtois out on loan would be the perfect pair to bring back to their parent club given their current ability and form.
Southampton 1-1 Man City
City's away form still needs work, they have everything they need in their squad to win the title and a manager who can win it for them. Just need to get their away form sorted. Southampton dogged and resilient, and show they can challenge the big boys. Top half finish should be easy for them.
Liverpool 4-1 West Ham
4 own goals today depending on how you look at it, but Suarez breaks his duck against the Hammers and Liverpool deserved the win. As a Liverpool fan I'm quite surprised that we managed to get to 2nd this week. 9 goals in the space of 3-4 days and 5 for Suarez. Top four ambitions are well and truly alive.

Man City will win the League team fixing, they've bought their whole squad lol.
Arsenal will slip up like they usually do, MUFC will finish 4th or 5th, the latter being resignation from Moyes. Liverpool will finish 3rd just behind Chelsea and Everton 5th or 6th.

I still think it'll be Chelsea or, most likely, City to win. Arsenal will fade away as they do (although they could surprise a few with Ramsey in the form of his life) Utd will finish 5th and Moyes won't go, Fergie didn't win everything from the start. Liverpool have been a surprise package...Suarez is just unplayable atm but are their midfield really world class? I'd say 3rd for them.
Imagine Liverpool with Arsenals midfield...
I think Chelsea will end up buying a top top striker this next window. Could even be Rooney? Can't see why they haven't recalled Lukaku though....the man is a beast!

I agree with everything you have said, Liverpool have done really well so far, rode our luck along the way, but tell me a team that has not had luck when they are doing well.
Everton are doing great (even if it is hard to admit )
I am really glad that ManU are starting to slide, it happens all the time, a team does well, then it is natural for them to have a dip in form at some point. I think that this is uniteds time to slip slightly.

WOW - I agree with most what you have said lol (shock, shock , horror, horror), I do happen to think Moyes will go, United aren't like any other football team it's more a franchise nowadays. The moment their success stops then they will lose fans and revenue. I personally didn't want Moyes there Mourinho were my choice or even Rene Muelensteen with Mike Phelan. Why bring in someone with a new philosophy and 'upset the apple cart' so t speak. All the players knew them and would just be like having the same team there.
Replacing Fergie is an impossible feat to achieve but Kagawa and Hernandez are either played out of position or not played enough.
Liverpool have been a very good side thus far, I fear should Suarez get injured or suspended then they could start struggling Chelsea are dark horses.

My Predictions:
1st - Man City (C)
2nd - Chelsea
3rd - Arsenal
4th - Liverpool
5th - Man United
6th - Everton
7th - Tottenham
8th - Southampton
9th - Newcastle
10th - Aston Villa
11th - West Brom
12th - Swansea

Stoke unfortunately will survive lol as there all 4 teams worse than them, damn it . Tony Pulis will keep Palace up and just finish behind his previous Club, Malky McKay will not finish the season as Cardiff manager unfortunately which will ruin their stay in the Top Division.

You think Sunderland will escape relegation and Norwich go down?
Have you seen the quality of Norwich's attack and midfield now, they are great strong side now, I know that Liverpool tore them apart, but hey, not all the teams have Suarez

Yeah I rate Gus Poyet and the team he has is stronger than the others, Norwich have a few very good individual players, jut not the team. Gary Hooper quality, Van Wolfswinkel (Big Disappointment). Their best players Leroy Fer, until A BIGGER team tries to sign him.

Oh I like Mick McCarthy and any team he manages so I'll be happy to say Ipswich will make the playoffs lol.

Leroy Fer, Jonny Howson, Ruddy, Bassong, Snodgrass, just to mention a few of their quality players.
I honestly think Norwich will do really well this season, sorry _maverick_ (not sorry really )

Sunderland have a good manager, playing decent stuff, but I think most of the players will want to leave in Jan, hence why they are trying hard now.
We all know sunderland will go down, at least they wont do a Derby

I hope so...although IF we were to go up (and that's a big if!) We'd need to spend a fair amount for us to have any hope of survival in the Premier League. We've hit a bit of form recently...not been playing well but grinding out wins (3 on the bounce now) but this weekend will be a tough test; away at Forest. Never win there (although usually down to McGugan who's gone now, thankfully!) So we shall see

Snoddy is out atm, as is Howson and wolfswilly I think? Hate them with a passion though

Yeah you'll win this weekend, Forest seem to have slowed down now, the Honeymoon period for Billy Davis is over now. McGoldricks a wicked player, (underrated)

I hope so as it'd put us above them then. But in all honesty, I'd happily take the point now and run lol.

You only don't like ex Leeds players, because you lost at home to them lol.
Anyways, back to the prem, and I think that most teams will give a good account of themselves over the course of the season, Cardiff strike me as a bit of a blackpool, great first half and then fade away back to the championship in the second half of the season.
However, Palace are gonna do really great soon, pick up cracking results and stay in the prem!

Fulham will be the surprise team I think...watch this space. They will beat teams who wouldn't usually give them a hope or a prayer lol.
Craven Cottage will soon be called 'Haven Cottage' lol
