To be honest I have tried to keep things the same where possible. However this setup allows much greater control of other features for future enhancements (which can be added incrementally rather than in a great big bunch like this one).

In my opinion i would love the choice of cursor to use.

I agree completely, SM. it's also very smooooooooooooooth (lol i got freaked out on the O's there xD)

first time i write, and guess why: don't like the new cross and cannot weigh my shots as well as before.
old layout wasn't broken (at least in my view), so why fix it?

just found out that i cannot run the game on my second computer.

did the java test, verdict was "success", but still when i enter game the window opens and stays white - could you please help?

Go to Add/Remove programs, remove Java completely.

Go to http://www.java.com and download the latest version.

Reboot your computer.

This should fix it (usually does anyway).

Go to Options > Game. Theres a drop down box where you can switch to the old cursor.

All's good. except that the balls are sliding (not rolling. atleast on my system). I cant control my shots, i think the balls are lighter than they were before. Unless, its my videocard or java :(

I was wondering why it said play at the top in tourney rooms, and found out why yesterday.

I was in straight semis and my game froze completely, wouldnt let me accept the invite for final. So i logged out, tried to log back in and it took ages before it would allow me back on. When i final did get back on i went to the room to tell my opponant what happened and i clicked play at the top. It let me play the game even tho i had logged off when i got the invite.

So yeh i love that new feature

my problem with loading the game window still persist. the java error message says: "mixer not supported: null", so presumably it has something to do with the java audio

anyone ideas on how to resolve that, or perhaps how to disable the sound (either of the game, or of the java itself)?

Hmm, does it load up or has trouble actually loading up the window?

I do think it's the sounds but can you play and everything smooth?

I think it's to do with components on your PC but trying to uninstall java and installing it again may do the trick. If not, you'll have to take a look at the java options in your browser.

Hey nick, I mentioned this to you in game PM, but when playing private games, once the game is finished the option to start the next game doesn't appear
