am duffed it's true,
am playin like stevie,
no wonder it's true,
a wee glass of red,
a rolled cigarette,
sat in front of the fire,
is as good as it gets.

don't come and have a dig at me,
you're a stranger I've no knowledge of you,
so cowardly and not even backed up,
and tbh it can't even be true!

life's changes make us who we are,
some things weren't meant to be,
we deal with ups n downs and all,
even if all don't agree.

some take it bad and hit the deck,
others stone faced and walk on by,
heartless, liars or stronger folk?
whilst some can't help but cry.

all in all you learn what's what,
dust off, get up and go!
keep smiling and be happy,
getting thro' life's too's and fro's.
