Has there been any development on the special 'platinum' medal for one of these victories?

I'm not sure if anyone did help John but it seemed he was the only one advertising the last one! Maybe if more people did it we'd get more playing it. And as its already been suggested, maybe an email / offline message sent to each member as a reminder.

Having said that..... I think we had a decent amount playing, not as many as snooker but enough to make it worth while. Snooker has a lot more players though and I think they made a bigger deal of it than we did.

Braveheart was hardly even congratulated on the forums which I was very surprised at. I definitely think it deserves some sort of acknowledgement or medal on your profile for winning it. Could even just have it on the rankings tables.

yeah did feel like a hollow victory because as soon as it was over there was no Fireworks, parties or champagne to be seen.

Loads mate. Even the mail man is delivery them. Constantly looking over my shoulder nah not had any but only a few congrats at the same time.

One-off medals may be in the works but for now there is the achievement and you can add the tourney to your about me as a permanent record.

Perhaps the organisers could make a up and about-me badge?

We were happy to take the idea and make it happen but dont want to take away fromthe fact this was a member organised event, so very well done!

The site has never been this lively in many months if not years so let keep it going. We can do the same with announcements etc but it really takes members spreading the word to make it a success.

A lot has been learnt and taken on board and hopefully we can make some small changes behind the scenes to make things even more fun in future.
