3 v 3 players playing 3 frames each. 1 of 8us, one of 8uk and of 9us (In that order unless agreed otherwise).

A ridiculous way to determine the winner of an already ridiculous format!

3 frames of the same type or 1 frame of each as someone could runout not giving the other guy a chance too

Each player plays 1 of 8us, 1 of 8uk and 1 of 9us. And there are no bonuses.

That just comes down too the server choosing who breaks though, very unlikely that the other player will get all three breaks though. I think a 3 v 3 play off in Super League should just be the same as the normal rules of the Super League to be fair, it is such a short format already anyway.

As its a playoff between the two top teams then you could have discusssed it and agreed on a fair playoff between yourselves. But!! That does not take into consideration the "it" factor and how a perfectly easy discussion will turn into a knightmare as usual.Shame

What's you starting on me for? I haven't said anything about it! All I asked was if the Playoffs now have a Playoff.

I personally think the Playoff format should be as consistent with all other leagues allbeit Bonuses are applicable in the SL to.

Could just be tweaked a little, lets say three racks of 8US, 9US and 8UK with three players from each team. No bonus included for events. That is 27 racks in total and no way a draw can be the out come. It is a little longer format for sure but both teams will put in the best players anyway or most active. Not many players complain about a longer format and at least that way a winner will be determined off racks alone.

3 players each play a normal SL game, the winner gets 1 point for their team. If it finishes 3-3 then they play 1 rack of straight to decide it as it's the only format where both players are guaranteed a shot.

That could work too Adam but straight has never been in Super League format (As far as i know) so i don't think it would be given the go ahead. Maybe Keith already has a plan if it does go too a play off.
