Shooters Revenge are crap I thought, well so I'm told often enough...

So in a nutshell Chris, how many players do I need to send you for next set of games...

I'm not the smartest cookie in the box, unlike some

Thanks

As it saves hassle now, Latin Legends B forfeit (for want of a better word) the Semi Final, due to insufficient number of players available to play in the length of time allocated to us to complete the fixture.

Thanks to Chris and Jooodles for running this and allowing our participation! If this continues to a second season we will enter it again as a single team instead of 2 seperate teams so that we don't have this problem again.

We can leave it until the deadline, but the guys we have eligible to play are:
vladimir (only logs in before 11 am I think, so he won't be back)
mighty_zeus (can't get a definite time from him to play and I don't think he sticks around long when he logs in)
skiller10 (offline 5 days)
champof9ball (offline 11 days)

score is 10-9 to angries and I don't think that a game will be played before deadline now. We'd lose both defaults.

Super League I - Semi-Final

Confirmation that Team Angry defeat Latin Legends B with the score on played games standing as the result.

Super League I Grand Final

Latest score...

Team Angry 7 - 13 Snooker Squad

Decision time on whether anyone wants to see Super League II?

If yes - do you want to keep it at 5-a-side or maybe increase to 6 or even 7-a-side?

The game formats of 2 racks of each type plus bonus points would not change.

I've found it to be very fun.
7 a side would already make it pretty big and I'm guessing you'll get a few more defaults. Will also look like the other leagues except with a different format.
6-a-side sounds good to me.

I like 5 a side because it's not always a case of one team is definitely going to win, like the old FCL cup (and early rounds of the current one). 7 a side is too much, 6 a side at most if you change it IMO. Its been great exactly how it is and i'd be weary of changing that.

Only thing I would alter is maybe a slight increase of time allowed in the playoffs (say 10 days) as that's where the defaults started to creep in.

5-a-side has worked great - only reason for offering to change it would be if most teams wanted to get more of their players involved. Sounds like its between 5 and 6-a-side. I don't mind either way.

Re the the seven days for play-off games. That was to ensure the season ended the same time as the other leagues. I think with 5 (or at most) 6-a-side then seven days should be more than enough time - particularly with 16 players to pick from, two weeks for the regular season games as well and only one team per clan.

Personally I would rather not move the goalposts at any point as the danger is that it almost becomes two separate competitions.

Yes, during the regular season, 7 days is good. But I think for the knockout rounds, it might be useful to give a couple of extra days to avoid defaults.
