Absolutely ridiculous!

A player asks to be released about a week ago and his team are now refusing to release him, and now we can't put him in our next fixture set?

With regards to this adjustment to the killer games, i think if you are reducing the standard format from 2 killer games to 1 then the same needs to be done for fixture one as well. best way is to take the result from the first completed game and not the best result of the two.

currently division one has 4/12 unplayed killer matches and division two has 8/12 unplayed killer matches, reducing fixture ones killer would reduce defaults as i do not see all remaining 12 killer matches being completed in 24 hours

most clans have already completed at least 1 killer match this fixture

Sorry but removing games that have been completed is a joke. You lose your first game and win your second and you are going to get penalised and those who have won both will lose out to those who have lost both.

Sorry but i warned that 2 games was too much before anyone had played 2 games and said do the right thing and change before anyone completed 2 games, league runners didn't listen. Now some clans have played 2 games changing the rules and format for this season in my opinion is too late.

Yes 2 games is hard work to arrange and yes it is too much and it should only ever have been one, but 2 games is what was set at start of season and now clans have completed them it should be stuck at 2 for the season, not ideal but that is how it should be.

Sorry but can't say i didn't warn you

Although its a good idea reducing the killer games, you are going to get the "big teams"(SS for example) pressuring the "smaller teams"(underdogs for example) to play when they have got there best 3 players online and the so called "lesser" players from underdogs are online

EDIT

Ive gotta agree with Keith tho, the league runners agreed on 2 games per set at the beginning of the season now you should stick to your original decision

sounds fair, i don't think there is a best result from the two as lets say you had 5-1 MVP vs UD and 4-2 UD vs MVP, if you chose best result which one do you choose as 5-1 is MVP's best and 4-2 is UD's best

I don't think so either would be a miracle though

Sorry but its not fair, if you win both games and another clan has lost both games they get a huge benefit

I think this is handicapping those who have managed to complete their games.

Allthough admittedly biass, mvp put in hours of arranging these killer games and have completed all 4.
Waiting in killer rooms for an hour on more then 1,occasion and still having to play at another time.

I agree, 2 games is beyond most clans, however, for those that have managed 2 games in a fixture, i dont think they should be punished, for other clans misfortunes.

doubt it to be honest on Snooker we set a time beforehand (usually 10 pm each night) and if both clans have 3 online we see if they want to play

most teams would rotate but be picky for the big teams like Spain (MVP) and Germany (SS) and several others.

for example though Spain can rotate as they have equal talent and mostly same for other teams, if you have those who can't play well then you have to be picky

sorry but reducing the games now, even though it affects some clans is much better and would have less outrage than 12 defaults... how do you expect a default panel to determine 12 killer defaults, unless we just give everyone a 3-3 which is completely pointless. many clans will not be happy with a default result as its hard to prove who was online at what time etc if you are dealing with 6 people per game.

and by the way, you may well remember that i debated heavily against including killer in FBL, this was apparently a reason for doubted_u2 deactivating, because i questioned killers stability in the FBL league.

thats like saying man city have too many good players, so next season they have to start with just 10 each game.

Yeah some teams are better then others, but thats where the fun and ambitions of clans come in to it

I think it's a silly argument to make- if the game will be reduced to one, then only the first game should count in this set of course. Otherwise you'll have clans with more games played than others at the end of the season.

This is exactly what we knew could happen with the killer experiment. We said at the beginning that it can easily be adjusted during the season if necessary. That is what's being done here.

Exactly why i requested it be changed to be told it wasn't getting changed. Now you are going to penalise teams who have worked hard to meet the demands of 2 games. The games going to default was mentioned before, that is league runners problems for making it 2 games. Sorry but you cant change the number of games after they have been completed. I requested that they did and was told no. Sorry but its not my fault that you didn't listen

Good result for SS though you will benefit with your defeat getting wiped

League runners going back on what they wanted at beginning of season (on majority) isn't going to show to anyone that killer will be be stable in the FBL, they go back on this decision what is the next decision they are going to back track on?
