Hey, try looking at this help article:

http://www.funkypool.com/help#playing_problems
and if you have java installed correctly, it should say verdict: success

If it doesnt, go to http://www.java.com to download the latest version, or here for the current version as of 6th October 2011: http://www.java.com/inc/BrowserRedirect1.jsp?locale=en

Also this one:

http://www.funkypool.com/help#enable_javascript

Is your javascript enabled? If not, still download the latest version ( http://www.java.com/inc/BrowserRedirect1.jsp?locale=en ) and then refresh the page.

If it says your javascript is not enabled, you will need to enable it by following these next steps:

For Windows:

1) Click "Start" and then "Control Panel"
2) Open "Java". If you cannot locate it this means you do not have a valid Java version installed.
3) Click the "Advanced" tab
4) Expand the option "Default Java for browsers"
5) Tick the box for each browser listed
6) Click "OK", then close all browser windows before re-opening

Or here for Mac:
http://www.ehow.com/how_5246210_enable-javascript-mac.html

Hope this helped!

my post from snooker said:
MSN/facebook/youtube can cause lag also.

a fast computer shouldn't have trouble with those but for the slow computers it can make a difference.

game booster download from google is another thing you can try as it shuts down un needed applications for most effective gaming experience it can.

game booster is also free.
