Rules have to apply to everyone it's when they start getting bent and broken for different people that all the problems start.
If it was ang or me getting banned then we would have to wait a season to be captain again for her or vice again for me...makes no odds who it is or their past record.
Also wouldnt affect shooters as previously stated.

The rule change is to cover other scenarios like someone messing a clan around and deactivating then starting their own up 5 minutes later.
Still has to be a concrete rule without loopholes though and has to apply to everyone else you just get trouble.

But you have just posted the reason as to why the rule is there lee and none of those appy to the case we are talking about lol

If you say you have to have an account of a season old to captain or be vice Matty then it applies to everyone no matter what the circumstances.
Craig himself argued for the last 2 seasons for this rule change specifically that old usernames not be used for experience.
If old usernames are not to be used for experience then he cant captain for a season.
Don't see where the ambiguity is really

Chill out lee I'm not arguing or anything here I'm simply making a case for te other side it's one of them he rule is there I know that and ur right rules shouldn't be bent or broken but they should be worded in such a manner where it prevents anything like this but as Jay said that will happen.

I think the case was made earlier, but deactivation isn't the only thing that makes one an unreliable runner. I would say getting banned is another. If Craig didn't have excellent vice captains, Shooters would be dead now.

Imagine someone like Sam (who when he comes back is more than welcome to rejoin our clan on snooker!! ) captaining clans. He's a very capable runner but keeps getting banned lol.

So yeah, in this case if you bring in the rule it should be applied to all, even the people we know.

The only other option is to say it starts from now, meaning those captains that are currently in are exempt. But in any case, Craig would only have to wait half a season or something until he's back in as captain, since he played part of this one...
